Fiona provides Senior Programme Management to CUK overseeing the delivery of business support to social economy organisations, securing multi-year contract funding for Our Business Greater Manchester, a co-operative hosted by CUK.
The Brief
To manage the delivery of business support to social economy organisations and entrepreneurs, meeting contractual and social value obligations required by Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA). Key responsibilities included managing stakeholder and supplier relationships, programme risks, issue escalation, and facilitating the Management Committee and Engagement Groups.
The Result
Led two years of successful follow-up contracts and raised investment for business support participants (combined total of £1.35m), in addition to leading the delivery of £330,000 in social value. 100% of contractual obligations have been met or exceeded. Over 400 purposeful businesses have received specialist support, achieving specific recognition from GMCA for extensive reach to underserved communities (black and racially minoritised, disabled entrepreneurs, LGBT+) etc.
