Moss Side Millennium Powerhouse
Supported the charity to raise investment and programme manage a £2.9m decarbonisation refurbishment, and establish its own youth work service.
The Brief
Project management and organisational development support to implement the Youth Investment Fund refurbishment at Moss Side Millennium Powerhouse and launch of the charity's in-house youth service. Key responsibilities included managing the external funder relationship; overseeing capital works to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and quality delivery; supporting youth service mobilisation; facilitating business planning, fundraising strategy, and organisational review; and enhancing impact measurement, and data management processes.
The Result
Delivered the decarbonisation programme to quality standards (externally audited) under budget and on time, resulting in the charity receiving praise from the funder and partners. Providing additional capacity to the CEO and board of trustees to devise a business plan and planning process, exceeding fundraising goals (by £140,000) and facilitating theories of change for programmes and impact framework the charity.
