Fiona provides Senior Programme Management to CUK overseeing the delivery of business support to social economy organisations, securing multi-year contract funding for Our Business Greater Manchester, a co-operative hosted by CUK.
The Brief
To manage the delivery of business support to social economy organisations and entrepreneurs, meeting contractual and social value obligations required by Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA). Key responsibilities included managing stakeholder and supplier relationships, programme risks, issue escalation, and facilitating the Management Committee and Engagement Groups.
The Result
Secured a second year of funding from GMCA following the successful launch of an online community and delivery of business support to over 200 businesses and entrepreneurs. Delivered on time, within budget, achieving 112% of social value targets, and delivering higher representation to underserved communities than programme competitors, including 27% entrepreneurs of colour and 14.15 disabled entrepreneurs.
